Slot Missions in Hogwarts
Slot missions are a great opportunity to earn equipment weapons, equipment and more. They're difficult to complete.

Slot for items that are smuggled
The smuggled item slot is an excellent feature that allows players to bring tools and weapons, however it could be improved with a better affordance. It's currently shaped as pistols, which makes it hard to distinguish the smuggled items slot from other gear slots.
The smuggle slot can house many different items, ranging from small concussion devices to explosives that are weapon-grade. These items are covertly stashed in a hidden location on the map, and can be found at any time. The items that are smuggled are different from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes, which conceal only small objects within scenery and objects directly.
Mission planning is an option in the form of episodic missions. It allows players to discover different starting points as well as smuggled items and gear slots before they enter the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This gives players the ability to design the perfect mission for every difficulty.
Gear Slot
The gear slots will quickly get full early in the game, leading to the frequently-repeated message "Your Gear Slots Are Full". This message will prevent Max from acquiring new equipment until the old ones are taken away or space has been obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which offer more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenging missions. However, as many of these challenges are scattered around the world and could be missed, it can take some time to get the most inventory slots that are available in the game.
Each player has up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear Slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. Each gear item (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades that are of the same type) only has one Gear Slot.
Agency Pickups
As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations let you store an item that does not fit in your concealed weapon or gear slots and retrieve them later.
These pickups are particularly useful when you have to pass through a frisk later in the game, or if you are carrying a weapon that would otherwise cause suspicion. But, you are only able to conceal one item per game at an agency pickup location.
This DLC includes new contracts for asset protection and security to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and purchase snacks and other items. Once you have reached the mission marker, identify a mob at the time you arrive.
